A Domain-Specific Language for Video and Image Processing

　We have developed a Domain-Specific Language (DSL) called LIC (Lisp-based Image Composer) which helps developing video and image operation tool efficientry. Requirements for video and image operation are as follows: (1) Moving picture operation using generated program code is conducted in high speed. (2) Less labor in writing succinctness program. (3) Interactive programming environment. LIC is a DSL to fulfill above requirements. In this paper, we describe on the LIC implementation and results of comparison with conventional methods.
